Cheers To Strong Women:

Week 4

Well, we can’t believe it, but it’s the last week of February, and the final week of our Cheers to Strong Women campaign! We have so enjoyed sharing our interviews with strong female babes across the country, as well as getting your participation in giving back portions of proceeds to the organizations that you’re passionate about. We are already looking forward to next year!

Now, let’s bring it home with these last two rad women!

Emily Baldwin

1. Who are you and what do you do?

I am Emily Baldwin. I am an entrepreneur, mother, wife, friend, community contributor, always a student, and a firm believer in always pushing to level up. I am co founder of Baldwin and Standard Style.

2. What does being a strong woman mean to you?

Being a strong woman is a continual evolution as we progress through our life journey. Today specifically where I am at with my children’s age, my career, my milestone years in marriage is different than it was even 5 years ago. I think once you find your true identity you are strong. True identity comes through trials, character training, pushing, wins, losses and struggles. Identity isn’t in the things in the world, but your inner you. Identity is not what you do …. it is who you are. Some of these traits of true identity that I value: having integrity, character, honesty, bravery, courage, freedom, work ethic, inner peace, laughter and joy. Being able to encourage and celebrate others. Being able to stand strong even when circumstances or people are disappointing. Remaining steadfast and positive when expectations are not met. Leading and loving well within family, career, and personal ambitions and dreams. Not tearing other people down in differences of opinion, but recognizing and appreciating everyone is one of one. The ability to serve and honor people around us with a full heart.

3. What advice would you give to the teenage version of yourself?

The hard work you are putting in now will be equipping for your future. Your perspective, travels, and vision will enlarge, so don’t let the small things distract you. Think even bigger! The people or events won’t define you, they will only be points of defining your true identity.

 4. Name a woman in your life that has inspired you to be the woman you are today.

I would say that the women in my family have inspired me to be who I am today. From my great grandmother who was a chiropractor, to my grandmother who was a global traveler, artist, and store owner. To my mother who has an incredible grace, strength, tenacity, and nurturing serving heart. To my sister, a creative, who has been my best friend to always listen to me, encourage me, cheer me on, and make sure we never quit dancing and singing.

 5. Tell me a fact, secret, or something weird you do.

Fact: I am crazy about my family and friends!! Secret: I LOVE adventure Weird: I have crazy numbers of pages in my journals. It started in hand written journals over 20 years ago, and now it’s in thousands of pages in word documents. Documentations, to adventures, to prayers, to inspirations, to hopes, to aspirations, decrees, and so on……

6. What is your favorite piece from Sierra Winter Jewelry?

Eclipse Necklace!

7. What is one of your favorite organizations that supports and encourages strong women?

Just Like you Films! This organization is not specifically only women centric, but founded and run by an incredible woman, champion of women, and what I would define as a strong woman: Jenn Greenstreet. She is championing topics with youth today through filmmaking that are impacting culture. Straight from KC to national recognition.

Lindsey Wixson

1. Who are you and what do you do?

Hello, my name is Lindsey Wixson and I am a model and interior designer.

2. What does being a strong woman mean to you?

Doing what you are passionate and talented at. Pursuing your passion can be scary at first, but it makes life so much more fulfilling.

3. What advice would you give to the teenage version of yourself?

I would tell myself to simply just go for it. Shine on, and don’t worry about pleasing people - it’s exhausting!

4. Name a woman in your life that has inspired you to be the woman you are today.

Many women; make up artists, models, actresses but mainly close friends and family. It’s often the women closest to you that can inspire you the most because you know them so intimately, and vice versa.

5. Tell me a fact, secret, or something weird you do.

I cut my own hair with a straight razor! Not the most conventional method…

6. What is your favorite piece from Sierra Winter Jewelry?

Freebird Necklace!!

7. What is one of your favorite organizations that supports and encourages strong women?

My agency, Society Management NYC! They have really helped shape who I am and have done the same for so many other women with their support and encouragement.

Thank you so much for following along. And remember, with each purchase this month, we will give back a portion of sales to the organization of your choice. You still have 5 days left to shop!

Peace & love,

Sierra
