We are so excited to share our April partnership with you. One of our goals for this year was to give back to our community more, and Happy Bottoms is such an amazing organization to do that with. So join us this month as we work together to impact the lives of families in need! Read on to learn more about our partner, Happy Bottoms, and their strong mission.
DID YOU KNOW?
- There are 23,000+ Kansas City area children who lack an adequate monthly supply of diapers
- Diapers can cost up to $125 per child per month, and can be 10% or more of a family’s household budget
- Many families living in poverty do not have access to grocery stores or discount big box stores where diapers cost less
Happy Bottoms is working hard to change these statistics. Since their establishment in 2009, they now work with 48 partner agency sites to distribute diapers to families monthly, and currently serve 3,000+ children per month. In January, Happy Bottoms distributed their 10 MILLIONTH diaper to a baby in Kansas City!
We will have a diaper drive at our Piercing Party/New Collection Launch on April 10th, and will be donating 5% of sales from our Mama Necklace and Mama Bracelet to Happy Bottoms all month. Want to get more involved with Happy Bottoms? Click the link below to get more information.
