Yes, we are only offering piercings to those 18 years and older.

How do you pierce?

The ear is pierced with a sterile, hollow bore straight needle. Then the jewelry is threaded through and the backing is placed.

All earrings are sterilized on-site. The earrings used are hypoallergenic and composed of either sterling silver, 18k gold vermeil, or 14k gold. All earrings contain no nickel or brass.

How do I clean my new piercing?

You will be provided with an after-care instructions card from your piercer. Your piercing also includes a bottle of topical antiseptic solution to use for cleaning & sanitizing.

Are there any situations that would prevent me from being able to get pierced?

Yes. You cannot get pierced if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have keloid or hypertrophic scarring, psoriasis at the site of the piercing, or any open wounds or lesions at the site of the piercing. You also cannot get pierced if you are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

How long does it take for my piercing to heal?

Everyone's ears are different! You can change your earrings out after 6-12 weeks, but it can take up to a year to fully heal.

Who is performing the piercings?

Our in-house piercer is Rebecca! She is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Kansas City.

She is married with two kids, and has lived in KC since she was a baby. Rebecca has been piercing ears since 2014!
